Headline asymmetry

The two people with the loudest names on the call (David Ofori-Atta, surname royal; Annette Fiala, the convener) are not registered SSD directors. The Japanese director who could signal real capital (Osamu) is silent. The chairman didn't show up. The chairman's track record is shells. None of that disqualifies the deal — but it tells you what the room actually is.

  • No-show on his own kickoff call.

  • Did not engage on the 4/25 call

Red flags

  • High-churn, multi-nationality director slate on a 10-month-old shell — pattern more like a syndication vehicle than an operating developer
  • Cannot verify Japanese capital backing without him producing employer / sponsor
